1st  Day: Arrival in Beijing
On your arrival in Beijing, the English-speaking guide will pick you up at the airport and transfer you to the hotel. The rest day is at your leisure, so that you can have a good rest to recover from the long time journey.

2nd Day: Beijing  (B+L+D)
In the morning, the pre-tour briefing will be presented in the hotel, which is very essential to your coming tour. Here you will meet the other members in your group who will travel with you in the following days. After that, your memorable China tour will start with the visit to the vast Tiananmen Square, the largest city square in the world. Just walk across the road to enter the splendid Forbidden City, the most complete complex of Imperial Palace, where the Emperors of Ming and Qing Dynasties governed the country over 500 years. In the afternoon, continue the city tour to another highlight in Beijing, the Temple of Heaven. Ending the first day sightseeing, the renowned Beijing Roast Duck Banquet valued at CNY122.00 net per person will be served at a famous restaurant, followed by the National quintessence, a lively Peking Opera performance at the Liyuan Theatre.

3rd Day: Beijing  (B+L+D)
Today we will drive beyond Beijing to have a short hiking on the Badaling section of the Great Wall, a symbol of the Chinese ancient genius. What is a must to see once you come to China. The lunch will be arranged at a well-chosen local popular Sichuan food restaurant to reward your great energy lost in the morning. Then transfer to visit the Sacred Way and the Ming Tomb in the afternoon.

4th Day: Beijing - Xian  (B+L+D)
After breakfast, visit the Summer Palace in the morning, the largest imperial garden for the royalties' relaxation and the lovely giant pandas in Beijing Zoo. Then see you off by flight to the next destination, Xian, another ancient capital city for over 1000 years with credible historical sites. You will be met at Xian airport and transferred to check in at the local best hotel. The welcome dinner of buffet style valued at CNY168.00 net per person will be served at your hotel.

5th Day: Xian  (B+L+D)
After breakfast in the hotel, you will proceed to visit the so-called eighth human wonders in the world, the extraordinary Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum. To ensure that you could have a good appetite, drive back by highway to downtown to have a rich a la carte lunch at CNY80.00 net per person at a Cantonese cuisine restaurant. Visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and the ancient City Wall in the afternoon. This evening we will arrange the marvelous Tang Dynasty Dinner Show at the splendid Tang Dynasty Palace. 6th Day: Xian (B+L+D)
Visit the Provincial History Museum in the morning, which holds a large collection of unearthed historic relics. The a la carte lunch valued at CNY80.00 net per person will be served at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, you will be taken to visit a local family, which helps you know well about the local people's life. Then have a visit to the ethnical Great Mosque and have some free time to have a stroll in the Bazzar nearby to find some funny artworks as little gifts for your friends. We will prepare the a la carte dinner valued at CNY80.00 net per person at a well-known Sichuan cuisine restaurant this evening.

7th Day: Xian - Lhasa  (B+D)
After breakfast, take the flight to the holy city, Lhasa. Be met and transferred to the local best hotel. You will need some time to get accustomed to this high altitude area. In the afternoon we specially invite a famous professor at Tibet University to have a talk with you on this exotic region, who may bring you some interesting topics such as Tibetan religion, festivals, marriage and customs. You may also have questions and answers with the professor on Tibetan people's life today. To ensure that you will have a good appetite to adapt to this high altitude region, we will arrange you an a la carte dinner valued at CNY120.00 net per person at one of the local best Sichuan cuisine restaurant.

8th Day: Lhasa  (B+L+D)
Full day tour to unveil this mysterious city. Visit the fabled and magnificent Potala Palace and the Sera Monastery. In the following, we will arrange a typical Tibetan family visit for you to have a glimpse of the Tibetan people's daily life. You can have a leisure time to enjoy an different flavored Tibetan dance and fashion show performed by the local people while having your dinner this evening.

9th Day: Lhasa  (B+L+D)
Today you will visit the Jokhang Temple, which is truly the center of Lhasa, as well as the Barkhor Street, the ancient flagstoned pilgrim's path. Go en route to visit the Tibetan Traditional Medicine Hospital. After lunch, continue to visit to the Norbulingka Park, where is the summer palace of Dalai Lamas. This evening dinner is served at the hotel.

10th Day: Lhasa - Chongqing  (B+D)
Take a morning flight to Chongqing and our guide will be waiting for you at the airport. Visit the Residence of General Joseph W. Stilwell, if time permits. After a local flavored buffet dinner valued at CNY88.00 net at the 4-star hotel, Holiday Inn Yangtze, transfer you to embark on the deluxe German-made cruise ship to stay overnight.

11th Day: Chongqing - Fengdu  (B+L+D)
At 08:00 am your marvelous Yangtze River Cruise begins. The ship will stop at Fengdu in the afternoon for the land excursion to the Ghost City, where is taken as the place governed by the King of the hell, an association dating  back to the Han Dynasty. You will see numerous ghost- and devil-like statues at each temple.

 
12th Day: Badong - Xiling Gorge - Sandouping  (B+L+D)
Sailing through the Qutang Groge, the shortest and the grandest of the Three Gorges and the Wu Gorge noted with its misty peaks in the early morning.  Stop off at Badong to have an exciting side trip along the Shennong Stream in pea boats, steering between the well-wooden and cliffy hills to sense the natural spectacular scenery in a short distance. Return on board the ship and go on with your cruise sailing into the western section of the Xiling Gorge. Berth at the Three Gorges lock tonight.

 
13th Day: Sandouping  (B+L+D)
After breakfast, land at Sandouping to visit today's highlight the massive Three Gorges Dam Construction Project, which is the largest hydroelectric and flood-control dam in the world. Afterwards continue your cruise to pass the eastern section of Xiling Gorge and the river guide will be available to provide a narration. Exit the gorges at Yichang city, where you pass the ship lock of Gezhouba Dam. At 20:00 enjoy yourself with the dancing and music performance in the evening party.

 
14th Day: Wuhan - Shanghai  (B+L)
Arrival in Wuhan at around 12:00pm. After breakfast, please proceed to prepare your package to disembark. Our guide will meet you at the pier and transfer you to have a local flavored lunch. After visit the Hubei Provincial Museum, take a flight to the largest modern metropolis, Shanghai, and transfer to check in at the hotel. This evening is free for you to have a wander nearby to enjoy the beautiful night scenery of the city.

15th Day: Shanghai  (B+L+D)
Full day city tour begins with a visit to the Shanghai Museum which is famous for its large collection of rare cultural piece, followed by the visit to the graceful Yuyuan Garden of Chinese traditional style. After lunch, take a relaxing cruise tour on Huangpu River, you will experience the prosperity of modern Shanghai. All of the eye-catching sightseeing ends here. The Farewell Dinner valued at CNY105.00 net per person is held at the well-known Wang Bao He in Central Hotel, which has 260 years history and serves the best Shanghai cuisine. After dinner, you will be entertained by the brilliant Portman Acrobatic Show at the Shanghai Centre Theatre. Upon returning to the hotel our tour guide will see you into the lobby to say bon voyage.

16th Day: Departure from Shanghai  (B)
